Kathleen Anderson has taught in Colorado for the past five years. She graduated with a B.A. in creative writing from Colorado College and graduated from University of Colorado, Denver with an M.A. in educational psychology. She is currently pursuing an M.A. at University of Colorado’s School of Public Affairs. Kathleen is a Colorado Educator Voice Fellow with America Achieves. This past August, she began teaching at STRIVE Prep-Kepner, a turnaround school in Southwest Denver and bought her first home in the neighborhood.
